I'm a good cook

Darn, I'm a good cook, especially on food that is cheap to buy... I can make something most people would turn their noses up at, into a tasty meal.

At the moment, I have chicken soup cooking away slowly on the stove.

Started with chicken necks, a couple of chicken drumsticks and veges out of the garden, and a few herbs, simmered them for about 4 hours, tasted, the stock had promise to an experienced soup taster, to the inexperienced, the taste was something close to cold dish water... you know, the water after you have hand washed dinner dishes in the sink.

While that was cooking a was soaking some dried lima beans.

Anyway, this morning, I took meat of chicken bones, stained everything out of the stock, add a good dollop of salt, once stirred in, the dishwater transformed into a delicious chicken stock, and added beans, lentils, chick peas and will add new veges in a few minutes, and 10 minutes before I serve I'll add the meat i picked off the chicken bones.

Adjust seasoning, and maybe thicken a bit, or make a couple of dumplings.
